New Crew Chief?

Published by nascarfan at 11:16 am under Nascar Opinions Edit This

Looks like Dale Earnhardt Jr. has gone through another crew chief… Tony Eury Jr. (Dale Earnhardt’s ex-crew chief - as of the other day) has been removed for the crew chief position. Rick Hendrick (the owner of Dale Jr.’s car) decided that 1 win out of 48 races was not good enough to keep Tony as the crew chief anymore.

This coming weekend, Dale Jr. will have a new crew chief.  Brian Whitesell (who is currently the Team Manager) will be the crew chief for this weekend’s race, but that doesn’t mean that he will be there permanently.

Hey, like I said before, Dale Jr.’s victory is coming soon, well hopefully it will be this weekend. Let’s see really how much impact a crew chief has over the driver, as far as the driver’s record!

Stay tuned, and don’t miss this weekend’s race in Dover, DE!

* As a side note, I still haven’t heard any more news about Jeremy Mayfield. At this point there is no news of a court date, or whether or not there will be one. I will keep you posted on this issue!
